Terms and ConditionsPayment
We really prefer cold hard cash in umarked bills or gold bullion deposited into our Swiss bank account. Otherwise, payment can be made by Direct Debit, Visa or MasterCard. NOTE: There will be a 2% bank fee when paying by credit card.

Once you have made the initial booking, we will send you an invoice for a 20% deposit payment. We require full payment two weeks before the commencement of the tour. If there is a late booking within this two week period, we require full payment immediately to secure the tour.
We require a credit card as security in case of any damage or extra payment required by the client. No charge will be made to the card unless there is an incident.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel the tour 7 days or less out, there is a 20% fee. 96 hours or less out, 50% fee. 24 hours out, 100% fee for no show or cancellation. If we are unable to operate due to unexpected Government/Health-imposed COVID travel restrictions, our cancellation penalties will be waived and full refunds will be provided, on the proviso that all suppliers of Runaway Tours also waive all of their cancellation fees. We encourage our guests to take out their own personal travel insurance
Bookings for December 15 – January 5
If you cancel the tour 14 days or less out, there is a 20% fee. 7 days or less out, 50% fee. 96 hours out, 100% fee for no show or cancellation. Any cancellation fees charged by suppliers on the itinerary, which are outside of the control of Runaway Tours, will be withheld from any refunds due to the client.
No refunds or discounts for bad weather.
Prices stated are in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and include GST.
Any additional hours or part thereof over the allotted tour hours will be charged at AUD$110 (inc GST) per hour.
We retain the right to cancel tours, vary itineraries and amend fares and days of operation due to extremes of weather or changes to operational conditions such as road closures, fire bans or other conditions beyond the control of the operator. At times it may be necessary to provide alternative transport or use the services of other tour operators.
There are no refunds for unused or partially used portions of a booked itinerary due to flight delays, schedule changes or any other reason.
The Tour Operator does not accept any liability for the acts, omissions, default or negligence of Breweries, Wineries, activities or any other service provided used in connection with these tours.
The Tour Operator shall not be responsible or liable for death, illness or injury to any person, or loss of or damage to any property or otherwise due to the operator’s negligence nor any inconvenience, delay, injury, accident, theft or negligence caused to, or expenses incurred by, any client/passenger however caused by or arising out of services or failure to provide services.
Australian Government regulations prohibit smoking, consuming food or drinks and the drinking of alcohol inside all tourist vehicles in Australia.
Australian law requires that you must be 18 and over to be served alcohol in any licenced premises. Please bring ID if you look younger than 25.
Whilst all care is taken, no responsibility is accepted for lost belongings or delays.
Please wait outside pickup point 5 minutes prior to pick up and allow 10 minutes for traffic.
Any disputes must be settled in a court of law in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
CLIENT CONDUCT
We require that all groups behave respectfully at each venue. These venues are family friendly venues and we want all of our groups to interact well with the local patrons of the venue. The passenger/s will be removed from the tour in any of the following circumstances:
- if the passenger/s uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or uses intimidating language towards our staff, a member of the public, any suppliers we use or otherwise behave in a threatening manner
- if the passenger/s uses bullying behaviour by intentionally using words or actions to cause distress or harm to another person’s wellbeing
- if the passenger/s deliberately interferes with a member of our staff carrying out their duties
- if the passenger/s puts the safety of either the vehicle or any person in it in danger
- if the passenger/s is intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- if the passenger/s is, or we reasonably believe they are, in unlawful possession of drugs
- if the passenger’s mental or physical state is a danger or risk to themselves, the vehicle or any person in it
If any of the above situations occur, the passenger/s will NOT be permitted to continue the tour. All monies that have been paid will be forfeited with no refund available. If the passenger/s refuse to leave the vehicle at the request of the driver/guide, this will be seen as trespassing and the police may be involved.
So, we ask all groups to have a laugh, but to please keep it respectful and respectable for everyone.
COVID SAFE TRAVEL
The health and safety of our passengers, suppliers and staff is our number one priority. In line with guidance from transport regulators as well as NSW Health, we have developed a COVID Safe Business Plan to provide the safest possible travel experience.
Our guides are all Double Vaccinated and we require all of our passengers to be Double Vaccinated also.
Before you travel with us, any person feeling unwell or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms including cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue, and shortness of breath should remain at home and not travel.
While on our tours:
- Everyone in your group should follow social distancing guidelines and good hand hygiene practices.
- You must scan the QR code before entering the vehicle.
- You must show your Vaccination Certificate to our guide
- Your group must wear masks at all times while on the vehicle.
- At most venues, they will also require you to show your Vax Certificate, wear masks and adhere to their COVID-Safe policies.
